Responsibilities • Perform Pulse (MIG) welding on mild steel using weld fixtures and symbols. • Complete an average of 2,000-2,500 welds per day. • Ensure consistent cosmetic welding. • Load metal onto fixtures and weld specific parts of the unit. • Collaborate with other welders to complete unit portions. • Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing a weld helmet, gloves, weld jacket, steel toe boots, and ear plugs.
