Welder Machine Operator

Growing St. Cloud area company seeking to hire welders / welding machine operators to their team! We are looking for candidates on multiple shifts - 1st shift (work four - 10- hour shifts Monday - Thursday) AND weekend Shift (7am-7pm, Friday, Saturday & Sunday). These are full-time, long-term roles, we are looking for career oriented individuals. Candidates are eligible to receive full benefits package after completion of probation period. These positions are not typical welding roles. The majority of these roles are operating machines that do the welding, and then there is some manual TIG welding to touch things up (roughly 85% machine operating, and 15% manual welding). All of the welding is done on smaller parts, there is no heavy lifting at all for these roles. The manual welding is mostly TIG welding. This is a great spot for someone who does not want any heavy lifting and someone who does not want to be dirty after work. Pay is based on previous experience and weld test. We are looking for candidates with 1+ year of professional welding experience OR related education. DCI, Inc. is currently seeking skilled TIG welders to join their team who: o Is highly motivated & results driven o Has excellent communication skills o Pays attention to detail o Has sound judgment & decision making skills o Thrives in a team setting Primary Objective: Able to perform welding and burning operations at a moderate level on steel and stainless steel components, sub-assemblies, and similar weldment and fabrications. Equipment Used: Uses all types of welding equipment, weldment positioning and manipulating equipment, air slag hammers, air chipping hammers, rotary air powered brushes, air grinders, air arc gougers, air impact wrenches, overhead power hoists, and hand tools including hammers, wrenches, and hand trucks. Requires the use of measuring devices such as; hand tape, square and protractor.
