Welders **DIRECT HIRE** Job Description This production role focuses on MIG welding mild steel, primarily involving jig and fixture welding. You will work off work orders, setting up jigs/fixtures according to prints, and perform a high volume of frame welding in various positions including flat and overhead. Responsibilities • Perform MIG welding on mild steel using jigs and fixtures. • Set up jigs/fixtures according to blueprints and work orders. • Weld frames in a variety of positions such as flat and overhead. • Ensure accuracy in measurements and welds to meet blueprint specifications. • Maintain high standards of quality to prevent faults in city bus frames. Essential Skills • Proficiency in MIG welding. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Experience with jig and fixture setup. • Precision in measurement and fabrication.
