Job Title: Welder Job Description As a welder, you will study blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and setup requirements. You will measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on materials or workpieces, assembling units to blueprint specifications. You will be responsible for tack welding pieces together for stabilization and ensuring the final welds are leak-proof and function properly. Responsibilities • Study blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and setup requirements. • Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on materials or workpieces. • Assemble units according to blueprint specifications. • Tack pieces together as dictated by blueprints or for stabilization. • Weld pieces to ensure the unit will hold liquid without leaks and function properly. • Pre-inspect units to ensure customer and company expectations are met. • Complete required paperwork and unit labeling, such as stamping. • Ensure units are inspected by Quality Control. • Assemble and return paperwork to the proper location. • Document all time spent on units via the E2 time ticket process. Essential Skills • Proficiency in welding and MIG welding. • Experience with grinding and blueprint reading. • Ability to read a tape measure accurately. • At least 1 year of experience as a welder. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to bend, twist, and stand throughout the duration of your shift. Why Work Here?
