Job Title: MIG Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing welding tasks according to blueprint specifications. You will determine the appropriate welds, callouts, and positions to complete each job, ensuring all tasks are done efficiently and accurately. The primary welding work involves MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel, ranging from 7 gauge to 1/4''. Additionally, you will assist with cutting and organizing materials, as well as fabricating by operating machines, grinding, cutting insulation, and finishing parts. The role comprises 80% welding and 20% other duties. Responsibilities • Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel as per blueprint specifications. • Determine proper welds, callouts, and positions to complete jobs efficiently. • Read and interpret detailed welding blueprints. • Assist with cutting material, organizing, and staging for other employees. • Operate machines for fabricating, grinding, cutting insulation, and finishing parts. Essential Skills • Proficiency in MIG welding. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Strong shop math skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Welding experience or relevant degree. • Experience with blueprints and welding symbols is preferred. • Stable work history without frequent job changes.
