Pipe Welder Pipe Fitter

Job Description Talent Corps, Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Pipe Fitter for an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a commercial pipe fitter, including installation, maintenance, and repair work for large-scale projects. Location: Spotsylvania, VA What You’ll Do: As a Welder/Fitter, you will: • Review drawings and fabricate pipe systems to spec • Perform layout, prep, fit-up, and welding of pipe and fittings • Support field installation and prefabrication work • Work alongside the field crew to complete quality installations safely and efficiently As a Pipefitter, you will: • Measure, cut, thread, and install piping systems (Plumbing/HVAC) • Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings • Assemble pipe sections and components using tools and welding/brazing/soldering • Direct helpers and assist with rigging and layout work What We’re Looking For: • 5+ years (Welder/Fitter) or 3+ years (Pipefitter) in commercial construction • ASME Section IX Welding Certification (or ability to obtain) • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, layouts, and drawings • Proficiency in reading blueprints, spool drawings, and isometric diagrams • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Ability to work early morning shifts and occasional weekends • Comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and working in all weather conditions • Must be able to lift up to 50–75 lbs.
