See More Details >>JOB SUMMARYTo utilize MIG, TIG, Stick, and Gas welding equipment to fabricate parts to dimension requirements with sufficient speed to meet efficiency requirements.Responsibilities include: Safety Comply with safety regulations and practices Show concern for and report safety issues Quality Identify non-conforming parts (see P2-13-001, WI-13-002) Initiate Quarantine Process (See P2-13-002) Start Up Ensure all paperwork is at machine prior to start up. Verify raw material condition and presence of traceability documents (where required) Verify acceptable cleanliness of work area and machinery. Verify presence and condition of gages (where required). Set up welder to correct settings for voltage, amps, cfm, etc. Verify correct gases and electrodes. Inspection Inspect the condition of welds and identify good and bad welds. Inspect dimensions required for first piece using correct gages to ± 0.002" accuracy (if required and depending on gage used).
