## Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. ## Duties - Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to determine project specifications - Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools - Perform stick welding, pipe threading, soldering, and operating various power tools - Utilize forklifts for material handling and movement - Inspect and test welded structures to discover flaws - Conduct repairs as needed ## Skills - Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques -Must be able to weld stainless steel and heliarc -Must be able to conduct your own fitting - Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance - Ability to operate a forklift safely - Familiarity with power tools such as grinders and drills - Precision measuring skills using tools like micrometers If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for metalworking and possess the required skills, we welcome you to apply for this exciting Fabricator/Welder position. As a metal fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings and sketches, following cut lists, and assembling various items according to plans. Metal Fabricator Requirements: • Previous work experience as a metal fabricator, fitter, or welder is a plus • Maintaining a positive attitude, open minded, and willing to learn. • Knowledge of design and manufacturing procedures. • Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, and sketches. • Knowledge of metal fabrication tools including shears, rollers, flame cutters, and presses. • Basic Math and Geometry skills. • Ability to lift and manipulate large heavy objects. • Ability to stand for long periods of time. • Willingness to work as a team or individually depending on the project. Welder/ Fabricator

Job Full DescriptionWelder-Fabricator 1) Performs any combination of following duties to assist workers in welding, brazing, and thermal and arc cutting activities: Moves workpieces, tools, and supplies, manually or by hand truck. 2) Lifts, moves and holds, or clamps workpieces to table, into jigs, or into position as directed, manually or by using hoist, pry bars, wrenches, hammer, and wedges. 3) Cleans workpieces to remove impurities, such as slag, rust, and grease, using wire brush, portable grinder, hand scraper, or chemical solutions. 4) Connects hoses from hand torch to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders or connects cables from power source to electrode holder and workpiece or fixture. 5) Starts gasoline engine to activate electric generators. 6) Places workpieces into furnace to preheat for specified time. 7) Removes, tags or marks, and moves finished work. 8) May attach grappling equipment to objects preparatory to movement by crane. 9) May be designated according to type of activity as Thermal-CutterPay will depend upon experience, interview, and test results.
