Job Summary: Holt Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Finish Welder for its Waco, Texas Location. This position is responsible for performing welding for the manufacturing of various products and components following established procedures and guidelines. Able to work independently and as a member of a team to provide welding services that satisfy internal and external customer requirements and achieve manufacturing goals. A minimum of five to eight years of experience and/or demonstrated job-relevant knowledge/skills and has obtained welding certifications in the FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding processes (1thru 3 G/F). A MFG Finish Welder has moderate knowledge of standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 6am – 4:30pm Essential Functions: • Follows and assists in the development of weld guidelines and procedures for subassemblies and full products utilizing various tools and fixtures • Teams with engineering to develop new fabrication weldment procedures utilizing drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols in coordination with current standard work • Participate in Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIWs) and Kaizen events to continuously improve processes, safety, and quality • Performs skills to interpret blueprints, drawings, and all welding processes through weld symbols and callouts • Trained in confined space safety requirements and procedures, and performs with the safety of self and others as a priority in all confined space situations • Performs basic skills to complete work orders, fabrication, and welding on the product and its components • Ensures all weldments comply with specific welding codes, procedures, and quality standards • Performs complex carbon arc gouging, oxy/acetylene torch cutting, and welding of multiple different welding processes • Performs and completes tasks with minimal supervision • Assists with training, coaching, and mentoring Finish Welder I and Weld Fabricators • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
