Solar Site Survey Technician II

As a Site Survey Technician, you will play a vital role in the site survey department, demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Essential Job Functions • Demonstrate expertise in the field survey process, including data collection and timely upload of survey results, leveraging advanced computing skills and technology to ensure efficiency and accuracy. • Proficiently and safely use ladders, operate at heights, and handle hand tools while maintaining safety standards in accordance with company protocols and industry regulations. • Execute drone flights to capture high-quality imagery for project documentation, processing and organizing imagery to ensure accurate representation of site conditions. • Conduct thorough project assessments (roof, electrical, structural, and general property evaluations), gathering all relevant details to document existing site conditions and identify potential additional work or scope modifications. • Identify and document any safety hazards observed during site surveys and communicate these findings to ensure prompt corrective actions. • Record and communicate customer inquiries or concerns, facilitating effective follow-up actions and providing clear, professional customer service. • Regularly review schedules to ensure on-time completion of surveys, demonstrating strong time management and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Engage in collaborative team efforts, maintaining professional communication with survey leadership, cross-departmental teams, and welcome call representatives. • Conduct quality control reviews of survey deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company standards. • Consistently demonstrate professionalism, ethical behavior, and a customer-first mindset in all interactions. • Be receptive to management guidance and feedback, using constructive criticism for continuous improvement while remaining self-motivated and capable of working independently. • Other duties as assigned by leadership. Education/Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Practical experience in roofing, electrical work, or general construction. • Familiarity with residential electrical and roofing standards. • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes is highly desirable. • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software is preferred. • Possession of a Part-107 Pilot License (Drone License) is a plus. • Must be flexible based on customer availability, occasional weekend days may be necessary. • Must have a valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Willing to move through the pre-employment screening process. Physical Demands • Ability to work in a variety of extreme environmental conditions (e.g., high heat, cold temperatures). • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, and work on rooftops of multi-level buildings, as well as within confined spaces such as attics. • While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly be required to speak and hear. The role frequently requires standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, and reaching with hands and arms. • Must be capable of lifting up to 50-70 pounds. • The employee will occasionally need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. • Vision requirements include the ability to focus at close and long distances, distinguish colors, maintain peripheral awareness, perceive depth, and make precise focus adjustments. Solar Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking an equally passionate Post Install Coordinator to help further our mission through excellent craftsmanship, customer service, and a team-focused approach. The Post Install Coordinator is responsible for managing and resolving all tasks following solar installation to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction. This includes coordinating inspections, interconnection agreements, net meter verification, and activation scheduling across departments and markets. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to support a seamless transition from installation to system activation. Essential Job Functions • Track and resolve outstanding projects from release to installer to board across all markets. • Obtain final inspection letters from municipalities. • Ensure municipalities send solar permits to utilities in a timely manner. • Coordinate with subcontractors to correct failed inspection deficiencies before re-inspection. • Submit and obtain executed interconnection agreements in partnership with utility contacts. • Follow up with customers and utilities to verify net meter installation status. • Complete final utility and state submissions. • Coordinate with Field Coordinator Supervisor to ensure timely project activation. • Coordinate with EE Supervisor to schedule and complete required upgrades. • Communicate regularly with B Stream Post-Installation customers to provide status updates and projected timelines. • Drive development and measurement of parameters view, call screen, and performance metrics to support market expansion. • Respond to customer phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally. • Collaborate across departments to improve overall customer experience. • Other duties may be assigned by leadership. Qualifications & Requirements • High school diploma required. • 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred. • Experience in the solar industry strongly preferred. • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus. • Proficiency in Google Workspace preferred. • Strong written and verbal communication skills required. • Knowledge of solar power systems and processes preferred. • Willingness to complete all steps of the pre-employment screening process.
