Title: Electro Mechanical Engineer Location: Plattsburgh , NY Job Description: Must have- Rail domain is must OR second preference Automotive domain Mechanical or Electrical education background • Working exp on Change Management of electrical harness • Experience on writing MoD (Modification Report) • Creating repair schemes/ procedure Experience 5+ years Key Skills Rail, Rolling Stock design, CATIA, CABs, Transportation, Train Interior, Train Electrical ,Locomotive, Harness Design, Change Management Industry Locomotive / Automotive/ Aerospace/ Rolling Stock / Mechanical Engineering /Electrical Engineering Job Description • At least 3 years experience on Rail/Loco/Train domain especially in Change Management • Accountable for all committed Deliverables on day to day basis • Study on input requirements for individual work packages / projects • Deploys and applies project Train Electrical development procedures • Organizes and leads work package reviews for the project he/she is in charge • Manages Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan • Organizes Design / Verification reviews with internal team and customer SPCs • Conduct self and team’s internal quality checks and ensure the accuracy and consistency all across deliveries • Technically lead projects, direct & guide team members and interface with internal stake holders and customer SPCs to realize project quality and delivery schedule • Mentoring & training team members on Rail/Loco/Train domain to upgrade on competency level • Build knowledge repository, training material to train new engineers inducted into team • Excellent oral & written communication Required Skills • In-depth / working level knowledge on Train Electrical Design • Ability to validate Harness assemblies, various installations on Train CAB / Train Electrical Design • Knowledge of Zuken’s E3s applications will be an advantage • knowledge on writing MoD (Modification Report) is mandatory • Good Knowledge CATIA V5 electrical modules like Electrical part & assembly design, Electrical harness assembly, Installation & Flattening, Part Design, Drafting and Assembly Design • Ability to design electrical cabinets-installation & routing, cable ducts/trays and selection of Cable Clamps & Conduits for Harness Installation • Knowledge on Change Management tools and SAP • Good drawing reading skills and dimensioning standard • Knowledge on Rail industry standards for various regions Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Rail Domain: 4 years (Required) • Automotive domain: 4 years (Required) • Change Management of electrical harness: 2 years (Required) • writing MoD (Modification Report): 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
