Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn various aspects of construction. The Construction Laborer will work alongside experienced tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities • Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized environment. • Perform tasks such as drywall installation, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing. • Support electrical work under the supervision of licensed electricians. • Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and block laying as needed. • Participate in flooring installation, ensuring proper techniques are followed for durability and aesthetics. • Conduct construction painting tasks to finish surfaces as required. • Assemble structures and components according to project specifications. • Help with construction estimating by providing input on materials needed and timeframes for tasks. • Collaborate with team members to ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines. Qualifications • Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. • Familiarity with electrical systems, drywall installation, trim carpentry, masonry, flooring installation, and painting techniques is a plus. • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. • Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
