Masonry Job Description Job Overview We are looking to fill our roster at Watson Masonry. Candidates must know or be willing to learn about this trade including being physically able to lift materials, build scaffolding, read a tape measure, and other skills needed to perform the job. In person interview will be required prior to hiring. Duties • Construct, repair, and maintain structures made of brick, stone, concrete, and other materials. • Utilize power tools effectively to cut and shape materials as needed. • Apply scratch coat to walls and other surfaces. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project specifications are met. • Perform hardscape installations such as patios, fireplaces, foundations and retaining walls. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Skills • Proficiency in using power tools relevant to masonry work including ability to read tape measure. • Familiarity with masonry practices is a plus. • Expertise in brick and block laying techniques for various surfaces. • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
