Candidates must know or be willing to learn about this trade including being physically able to lift materials, build scaffolding, read a tape measure, and other skills needed to perform the job. In person interview will be required prior to hiring. Duties • Construct, repair, and maintain structures made of brick, stone, concrete, and other materials. • Utilize power tools effectively to cut and shape materials as needed. • Apply scratch coat to walls and other surfaces. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project specifications are met. • Perform hardscape installations such as patios, fireplaces, foundations and retaining walls. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Skills • Proficiency in using power tools relevant to masonry work including ability to read tape measure. • Familiarity with masonry practices is a plus. • Expertise in brick and block laying techniques for various surfaces. • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
