Key Responsibilities: · Supervise and manage the crew during foundation repair and drainage projects. · Ensure all projects are executed safely, according to industry standards, and in compliance with local building codes. · Provide hands-on assistance with challenging repairs when needed, offering technical expertise to the team. · Conduct site assessments and collaborate with sales and project managers to determine the most effective repair solutions. · Coordinate daily tasks, manage job site logistics, and maintain proper materials and equipment. · Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and customer updates. · Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and high-quality work. · Communicate regularly with customers to update them on project progress, timelines, and any potential issues. · Assist with communication with customers after a job is completed, including picking up checks and completing final walk throughs Qualifications: · Multiple years of experience in construction, specifically in foundation repair methods, including excavation, wall and substructure replacement, waterproofing, and drainage solutions · Proven experience leading and supervising teams in the field. · Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and foundation plans. · Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. · Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations. · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Essential Functions: • Monitor and maintain schedules for workers and sub-contractors; make sure the best skills are applied by each worker and ensure product installation requirements are followed accurately and efficiently. • Ensure all safe work practices are followed at all times. Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed at all times. • Brief crew members on daily tasks and direct workers on assigned tasks. Track rental equipment, material needs and use, monitor labor and sub-contractor costs to maintain project budgets. Verify accuracy and compliance of tasks in progress to comply with codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements. • Document daily activities, material/parts used, testing, inspections and visitors. Create and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to maintain a timely flow of supplies, materials and sub-contractor work. • Ability to travel to job sites. • Must be able to operate heavy equipment to dig ditches and manually install equipment. • Work with concrete, framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing. • Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure deadlines are met. Experience, Competencies and Education • High school diploma/GED • 3-5 years construction experience running crews and sub-contractors. Preferabley Petroleum Construction. • 40hr OSHA training is a plus. • Equipment operation experience with operating Skid-Steer loaders, Min-x excavators and Rubber tire backhoes. • Detail oriented. • Strong communication skills. • Must be a self-starter with strong leadership qualities. • Ability to lift 75 –100 lbs. • Ability to work outside during all types of weather.
