Typical Duties: • Assist with Preparation of layout of Site • Assist with excavation and Footing installation • Erect and Install Commerical Recreation Equipment • Clean up rubble and debris • Assist other workers including: Machine Operators and Foreman in the installation process • Load, unload, identify, and distribute building materials to the appropriate location according to project plans and specification. • Laborers will also tend machines and be trained as operators for experience Growth in the construction industry. • Safety sensitive position as Safety is the most important part of the position Qualifications: • Knowledge or experience of playground and splashpad installation not required for position. • Comprehensive knowledge of general construction and repair methods and the proper utilization and care of tools, materials and equipment. • Comprehensive knowledge of traditional building materials, practices, and techniques. • Able to communicate effectively • Ability to operate a motor vehicle Physical Demands: • Ability to continuously sit, stand or walk • Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently • Ability to work in heat and cold, work outside and work in high elevations • May lift and carry heavy objects 5-25 pounds frequently, 25-50 pounds often, 50-100 pounds occasionally. • Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl in awkward positions continuously. • Some jobs expose workers to harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, loud noise, or dangerous machinery. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred. Similar construction scheduling experience or equivalent combination of training and/or field related experience.
