Project Lead Location: Goldsboro, NC Shift: 1st Shift Compensation: up to $125,000+ annually, based on experience About The Role A well-established manufacturer in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a Project Lead with strong experience in operations and project management. This is a critical leadership role for a major capital initiative replicating a high-volume production line at an adjacent facility. Key Responsibilities • Lead execution of capital and expansion projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and on-budget delivery • Develop clear scopes and technical project objectives involving key stakeholders • Plan and manage the relocation and installation of manufacturing equipment • Allocate and track resources using project management tools and systems • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks • Maintain proactive communication and reporting to internal leadership • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and external partners • Oversee a small team of engineers and cross-functional staff • Document and report project milestones, challenges, and performance metrics Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations • At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects • Strong technical understanding of production systems and plant operations • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and standard project tracking tools • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Preferred • Experience with capital equipment installation or plant expansion • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic environments • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401K and PTO #IPROPLUS
