Construction Laborer

Job Description: Your main goal as a Crawlspace Technician/Construction Laborer will be to help solve customers' problems regarding the condition of their crawl space and/or basement. You will be working closely with 1-2 other crew members to address our customers' needs by remediating moisture issues (laying moisture barrier, digging drains, installing dehumidifiers, etc.) and helping to repair structural damage (sistering joists, building drop girders, etc.) in the crawl space and/or basement. Construction Lead Man

Job Overview Construction lead man for a small general contracting company. Must be proficient in basic carpentry and demonstrate competency in basic related construction trade skills. This position is one that requires the performance of construction work along side other team members while directing the work of the entire group. General Description The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overall management of construction projects resulting in successful project completion on schedule and up to company construction plans and standards. Key Responsibilities and Duties · Keep project on schedule and updated in the company’s scheduling software. · Develop and maintain good relationship with Team Members, Suppliers, Subcontractors and regulatory authorities. · Maintain timely and accurate reporting to management. · Review supplier and sub-contractor contract conditions, and ensure compliance. · Supervise documentation of all significant project events, e.g., accidents, delays, change orders. · Participate in preconstruction planning and activities. · Maintain quality control (integrity and excellence of completed project). · Avoid or mitigate claims and conflict. · Strive to pass all required inspections first time.
