Lead Mason

Beach Boys Masonry and Hardscapes is looking for a lmason/hardscaper to join our growing team. You will complete multiple job tasks as required in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible to complete miscellaneous masonry and hardscape projects such as: laying brick, paver patios, fire pits, fireplaces, concrete slabs, foundations, concrete repair, etc. Other Responsibilities: • Mix mortar • Lay block, brick, stone, pavers, etc. • Properly maintain and clean all tools, equipment, and machinery • Work effectively and efficiently Requirements: • Knowledge of methods, procedures, equipment, and materials used in the masonry trade • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Strong work ethic • Work 8+ hours per day Monday through Friday (some overtime/weekend work may be required) • Perform other duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Ability to Commute: • Wilmington, NC 28403 (Preferred) Work Location: In person

BIM Manager

What You’ll Do at Monteith Construction As the Wilmington BIM Manager, you will primarily focus on the development of 3D renderings and walkthroughs and assist with BIM coordination. Create and Maintain Models for Project Specific Requirements • Create models including structure, interior and exterior architectural elements and MEP systems. • Coordinate with BIM service providers and Subcontractors. • Compile contract BIM close-out documentation. Develop Renderings • Develop 3D renderings and walkthroughs based on models provided by design teams • Develop 3D models from PDF or CAD files • Edit video renderings • Vet rendering with the design team and Monteith project team input Trade Coordination • Run and analyze clash detection on the federated model. • Communicate conflicts in the model; both real and potential. • Schedule and facilitate coordination meetings along with the project manager and/or superintendent. • Meet with designers/owners as required to facilitate the review of models as needed. • Develop dimensioned coordination drawings Experience You Should Have • This position will require and primarily use Revit and Navisworks, and Enscape. Strong computer, technical and communication skills are essential and required. • This person must have a thorough understanding and proficiency in reading design documents (plans, specs, and finish and equipment schedules). • Due to the collaborative nature of coordination using BIM tools, the candidate must also have the ability to seek out and resolve issues through close interaction with other project team members.
