A Construction Helper is responsible for aiding in the maintenance, repair, and installation of pumps and tanks. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company. MUST have previous construction experience. Must be willing to travel throughout North and South Carolina. Preferred candidates will have piping experience. Set Construction Lead

About the Role MrBeast is searching for a skilled and experienced individual to join our art department as a Team Set Construction Lead. This individual will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on and off-site set construction activities through the creation of required props and built environments for their assigned videos. This individual will collaborate with members of our production, camera, and creative departments to provide cost and time estimates, feasibility studies and ensure all sets meet safety standards. To be successful as a Team Lead, you should be able to delegate tasks, make decisions under pressure, and provide clear instructions to crews of subcontractors. You should also be able to collaborate with different departments and stay motivated while working long hours. Outstanding candidates have a keen eye for detail, strong creative vision, and the ability to maturely process criticism. What You'll Do • Provide cost estimates • Supervise set construction timeline and communicating it to crews and vendors • Execute on production notes/specifications and collaborating with the Set Architect to design the layout and look of the set and props • Delegate tasks, developing time schedules, and ordering required materials for builds • Manage construction efforts on one or more projects which can be large and complex • Research specific design details and incorporating these into the set • Produce mockups for the director’s approval and implementing changes as required • Perform quality assurance on all aspects of the set • Perform day-to-day decision making for construction activities within scope • Know when to elevate issues requiring executive leadership direction • Act as point of contact to all construction vendors and contractors on a daily basis • Brief crew and cast on set safety and also explaining how the set operates • Daily progress reports and check-ins with Set Architect What We're Looking For • 4 years of outside job related experience in any of the following areas: • Commercial/Residential Construction Management • Fabrication Specialist (ability to work with variety of materials) • Large Scale Set Design/Construction • Custom Carpentry • Jobsite Foreman • Ability to lead a project team • Ability to manage through conflict, complexity and to problem-solve issues to resolution • Ability to direct, adapt to change, establish relationships, collaborate, build consensus and anticipate roadblocks • Excellent creative intelligence and exemplary time and stress management skills • Must be able to commit and be flexible on long hours • A good eye for detail (creative and analytical) and the ability to generate many ideas • Strong team mindset is key Candidates must possess and conduct themselves with the highest level of respect and professionalism.
