General Duties: • Performs semi-skilled masonry work associated with the construction, maintenance, and repair of City roads, sidewalks, curbs, catch basins, drainage systems, other structures and related projects for the City as assigned. • Performs other tasks in support as assigned: cuts pavement; installs, clears and repairs ditches; clears drainage obstructions from pipes, culverts, ditches, catch basins, and gutters; lays and smooths asphalt; repairs asphalt and concrete; patches and repairs potholes in road surfaces; and other similar construction tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities As the Commercial Masonry Superintendent, you’ll take full ownership of the jobsite, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity throughout every phase of construction. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading daily safety inspections and ensuring scaffolding and jobsite readiness • Conducting toolbox talks and maintaining all required safety documentation • Pre-planning and scheduling weekly activities, coordinating labor and on-site logistics • Reviewing construction drawings and specs to ensure a high-quality masonry product • Collaborating with general contractors and supervising subcontracted masonry crews • Managing permitting, digital reporting, and daily project documentation • Participating in regular progress meetings and maintaining accurate daily reports Project Types You’ll work on a wide range of commercial masonry projects, including: • CMU-based commercial structures • Government buildings (e.g., Coast Guard facilities) • Educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and clean rooms • Office suites, parking decks, power and utility plants • Precast and veneer systems, seismic-compliant and earthquake-resistant builds • Both new construction and complex retrofit projects Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: • 5+ years of experience in commercial masonry • At least 1 year in a superintendent or leadership role • Proven experience with load-bearing CMU (non-negotiable requirement) • Comfortable with digital reporting tools; Procore experience is a plus • OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) • Clean background and a stable, verifiable work history Work Schedule & Benefits • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40–45 hours/week) • Weekly pay schedule • 100% employer-paid health benefits for the employee • Company vehicle provided or monthly vehicle allowance • 401(k) with full employer match after one year All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
