Learn more at www.htsu.com Key Responsibilities • Install refractory products including fiber, castable, brick, and ram-based materials. • Remove existing refractory materials using chipping hammers, rivet busters, and other demolition tools. • Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and work drawings. • Perform basic stick welding to install steel anchors. • Build forms and support structures for complex installations (arches, lintels, etc.). • Train and mentor apprentices or less experienced workers. • Follow all jobsite safety procedures and maintain organized workspaces. • Collaborate with supervisors and project managers to meet job requirements and timelines. • Travel extensively, including overnight assignments to customer facilities across the U.S. Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in bricklaying, including industrial or commercial projects. • 3+ years of experience in construction projects (industrial construction preferred). • Hands-on experience installing refractory products is highly desirable. • Proficient in masonry methods, materials, and hand/power tools. • Ability to interpret construction plans and technical documentation. • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to craftsmanship. • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and remain flexible with changing site conditions. • Commitment to team work and working well both in solo and team environments. • Excellent physical stamina and hand-eye coordination. • Safety-focused and capable of adhering to OSHA standards. • Valid driver's license required. • Certification or formal training in masonry is a plus.
