Qualifications • 5 + years of bricklayer experience, residential and commercial • 3+ years’ experience in construction projects. (Industrial construction is helpful) (Refractory knowledge and experience is extremely helpful, but not required). • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts • Knowledge of building forms for masonry work (arches, lintels, ect.) • Previous experience as a Mason or in a similar position • Ability to adapt to multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality Certification or training in masonry is preferred • Ability to collaborate with other construction professionals • Strong attention to detail • Excellent hand-eye coordination • Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations • Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
