Job Title: Superintendent A.L. Adams Superintendents oversee and manage all construction activities for our construction firm to successfully complete each project on time, within budget and to our internal quality metrics. Done well, this ensures we are exceeding the customer’s expectations This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. This role also maintains and closes out construction projects. Supervision and Leadership: · Coordinate and supervise all construction activities · Direct all field team members to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications · Proactively manage schedules and resolve potential issues before they impact progress · Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process · Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and contract documents · Maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and other employees · Prepare, schedule and supervise completion of a final punch list · Ensure strict adherence to company safety protocols and OSHA regulations · Lead weekly safety meetings and maintain compliance records · Ensure accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets and understand subcontractor scope of work to avoid unnecessary change orders · Communicate with the Project Manager any issues at the project sites, including weekly updates · Prepare weekly progress updates, photographs, and work with the Project Manager to update the schedule for Owner weekly reporting including 2-week look ahead schedules · Conduct pre-construction meetings for various vendors, subcontractors and partners · Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to ensure project is on schedule with no complications · Understand the requirements of the Contract Documents to ensure the subcontractors have completed all work expected · Maintain a clean jobsite and use clean-up notice to keep subcontractors performing their clean-up · Document daily reports, photographs and other appropriate measures per Company policy · Oversee equipment maintenance, rental and documentation Qualifications: · 3-10 years’ experience as a construction field superintendent on commercial projects, Construction Management degree preferred · Proficient with computers and MS Office Suite; experience with project management systems (CMIC, Procore, PlanSwift) a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $1,000,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Professional development assistance • Referral program • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person

Main Responsibilities • Work will involve physical exertion of a practical nature. Individual may have limited or no experience in road and/or site construction. • Abilities must be flexible as to allow various labor activities including, but not limited to: shoveling dirt, sand, asphalt or concrete using shovels; cutting or trimming trees and vegetation using ditch blades, sling blades, chain saws or power weed trimmers; driving stakes or breaking concrete using sledge hammers, operating hand-driven compaction devices. • Handles, stacks, and move formwork and materials. Keep jobsite clean and orderly by cleaning and stacking materials not in use. • Perform shoveling, raking, and demolition work as required. • Assist others during concrete placements, traffic control, and prefabrication tasks. • Able to work and assist others to work in a safe manner within the guidelines of the company’s policies. • Any other task assigned by supervisor.
