The machining operation requires loading CNC programs and tool magazines and the set up and positioning of parts in holding fixtures; also edit programs as required to produce optimal results. Work independently with minimal direction from supervisor. Responsibility Summary – CNC Machinist: • Setup machinery for new production runs; including inputting programming updates/changes. • Operate machinery to produce finished parts. • Check parts for quality assurance using precision measurement tools. • Inspect and replace worn tools as necessary. • Deburr parts as needed.
