CNC Milling Machinist (Mazak and Haas 3-5 axis mills)

Experience operating Mazak Mills and knowledge of Mazatrol conversational programming and/or experience on a Mazak Integrex Machine is a plus. Candidates with experience on Haas Mills with Fanuc controls are also encouraged to apply. Pay, Benefits, and Shift Info: - Hourly pay is $32-37hr an hour for experienced machinists. (Less experienced machinists encourage to apply as well, pay based on experience) -2nd shift and weekend schedules pay shift differentials above base salary. Operate control consoles to enter data for machine operation. The machining operation requires loading CNC programs and tool magazines and the set up and positioning of parts in holding fixtures; also edit programs as required to produce optimal results. Work independently with minimal direction from supervisor. Responsibility Summary – CNC Machinist: • Setup machinery for new production runs; including inputting programming updates/changes. • Operate machinery to produce finished parts. • Check parts for quality assurance using precision measurement tools. • Inspect and replace worn tools as necessary. • Deburr parts as needed. Qualification Summary – CNC Machinist: • High school diploma required; any secondary education in a relevant field is however preferred • Experience operating CNC machinery • High mechanical aptitude - ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions • Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc. • Ability to move equipment weighing 40 pounds for 20-30 feet

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Machinist’s Mates (MM) are responsible for operating and maintaining ship propulsion machinery, auxiliary equipment and outside machinery.
