We are an air conditioned facility! The CNC Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production schedule, material purchasing, and staff in the CNC and CNC Router departments. This role will also implement and upkeep all standard operating procedures in the CNC Router department to ensure efficiency, safe work practices, and continued capacity to scale production to meet growing sale requirements. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Operations Manager to create SOPs to better streamline production in the CNC Router department. Oversee implementation and continued execution of the new SOPs. • Schedule production for CNC and CNC Router departments in coordination with Operations Manager. • Conduct final QC and NetSuite transfer of all parts in CNC Router. • Manage and complete work orders for CNC and CNC Router departments. • Ensure employees in CNC and CNC Router departments are following SeaSucker rules including cell phone usage, attendance & tardiness policies, and other standards of conduct. • Oversee other machinists to maintain a safe, productive, and positive environment. • Manufacture regular production parts as needed including boxing, labeling, finalizing counts, etc. • Order material for production jobs in both CNC and CNC Router departments using NetSuite including raw materials, hardware, etc. • Organize set up sheets, documentation, and console mapping in CNC Router. Create documentation & set up sheets where needed. • Oversee operators in both departments and assist with any problems that may occur during a shift. • Conduct weekly spot checks and monthly/quarterly inventory checks for CNC and CNC Router department using NetSuite and Google Sheets as requested by Operations Manager. • Check parts periodically to ensure products are still in tolerance per print in CNC department. • Follow the maintenance schedules to keep machines in good running condition. • Perform all tasks in compliance with OSHA and Seasucker safe work practices. Qualifications: • Prior experience operating CNC router, mill, or lathes preferred; • Prior experience managing teams of multiple people strongly preferred; • Prior experience managing production schedule & purchasing prefered; • Ability to lift raw material and product up to 25 pounds; • Positive attitude & ability to work with others; and • Ability to be on their feet for a full shift.
