Job description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of Focke 350 or Protos 80/ 90 machine systems and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. The Machine Mechanic will play a crucial role in fabricating high-quality products that meet our standards for precision and reliability. Responsibilities • Operate Focke 350 or Protos 80/ 90 machines, and other manufacturing equipment to produce cigarettes. • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) documentation. • Utilize logic controllers to monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments. • Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. • Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using calipers and other measuring tools. • Fabricate components as required, adhering to quality standards throughout the production process. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols to minimize hazards. • Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational issues. Skills • Proficient in operating Focke 350 or Protos 80/ 90 machines and lathes with a solid understanding of machining processes. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively. • Familiarity with logic controllers used in manufacturing settings. • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations in production tasks. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Machinist/ Water Jet Operator

Machinist/ Water Jet Operator 1st Shift, Monday - Friday Summary of Essential Job Functions for a Machinist: • Perform light fabrication, making jigs, fixtures, and special lots of production components • Program and operate the water jet, loading and unloading material and parts, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements. They are looking for a Manual Machinist to join the team and assist with equipment operations for the machining department.
