Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious CNC Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operations, basic blueprint reading, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards A Day In The Life Load raw materials (up to 45 lbs) into the CNC machine cradle. Operate cutting machines and mold press equipment to support the Assembly Department. Learn and navigate the machine’s LCD interface and screen functions. Set up and operate production machines following established procedures and guidelines. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. Accurately record production data, including good and scrap parts. Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns for assembly tasks. Maintain inventory of products at workstations. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards. Identify and report product defects to the Team Lead or Supervisor. Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals. Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards. Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate task completion. Start, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment as needed. Understand and follow MSDS guidelines for handling hazardous materials. Troubleshoot and resolve basic product quality issues. Report safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to management. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Environment & Tools The CNC Machine Operator will work in an environment that may include exposure to dust, noise, moving air, vibration, temperature extremes, humidity, and moving machinery. Proper safety protocols must be followed at all times. Required tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) includes but is not limited to: rubber, metal, and plastic scrapers, hand tools, a pneumatic air drill, rubber mallet, rags, gloves and/or arm protectors, plastic apron, spray paint, hammer, drain carts, plywood, measuring devices, and brooms. Operators must be trained in the proper use and maintenance of these tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. What will help you thrive in this role?
