Your success is our success. Description We are hiring immediately for Machinists and Metal Fabrication positions! CNC, Router, Extrusion, Lathe and more! Job Summary: Specific positions would require applicants to: setup and operate a variety of machines to cut various materials to specified shapes and sizes, fabricate/form a variety of aircraft components into aircraft parts. Job Responsibilities: -Sets up and operates a computer numerical control (CNC) machines router to cut a variety of materials (router) or fabricate parts from extrusions (extrusion). Works from oral and written instructions, sets-up sheets and N/C disk readouts. -Reviews set-up sheet, secures material stock to machine bed, and mounts specified router and drill bits. -Installs machine control disk in reader of control console. Observes machine operations for proper functioning. May override disk control feed and speed using manual data input to prevent broken tools and damaged material. -May require editing of CNC programs as necessary. -Requires contact with Manufacturing Engineering or Experimental to coordinate machine operations. -Utilizes a variety of hand tools to complete the work including wrenches, hammers, and precision measuring instruments such as scale, protractors, calipers, and micrometers. -May also require finishing parts by sanding, hand routing or burring.May require the use of moving equipment to stage work and to perform other functions of this job. Moving equipment is defined as, but not limited to, forklift, crane or tug, etc. -Responsible only for own work and performs other related duties as required. Qualifications Education: Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification. Experience: Requires a minimum of 18 months routing or directly related fabrication experience, including one year on CNC machine operations. Job Title: Machinist Job Description As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate production of metallic machined parts according to the specifications and requirements of the shop traveler. You will ensure error-free processing of each order and complete necessary paperwork and computer data entries associated with the CNC Production Process. Responsibilities • Operate, maintain, clean, setup, load, and unload the CNC Router. • Effectively and efficiently carry out production processes: Receive orders from Production Planner, allocate, pull, and load materials on the machine, inspect products, clean, label, and stage finished parts, offload scrap or stock, and return materials as needed. • Process jobs through the system and maintain an organized, clean work area. • Verify quality to ensure products meet customer specifications. • Regularly clean and maintain equipment and machinery. • Program and troubleshoot CNC Router functions. • Understand and adhere to company objectives and mission. • Willingness to learn production and distribution methodologies. • Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, quality standards, and procedures. • Keep immediate work area clean and organized throughout the day. • Cross-train other team members as assigned.
