Job Title: CNC OperatorJob Description The CNC Operator is responsible for the timely and accurate production of metallic machined parts according to the specifications and requirements of the shop traveler. This role also involves error-free processing of each order and completing the necessary paperwork and computer data entries associated with the CNC production process. Responsibilities • Operate, maintain, clean, setup, load, and unload the CNC Router. • Effectively carry out the production process, including receiving orders from the Production Planner, allocating and loading materials, running jobs, inspecting products, and maintaining an organized work area. • Clean, label, and stage finished parts, and manage scrap or stock materials. • Program and troubleshoot CNC Router functions. • Regularly clean and maintain equipment and machinery. • Verify product quality to ensure it meets customer specifications. • Understand company objectives and mission, and adhere to all safety rules, regulations, quality standards, and procedures. • Cross-train other team members as assigned. Essential Skills • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid Driver’s License. • Two or more years of machine operating experience. • Intermediate or higher CNC operation experience. • Proficiency in reading and math. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Computer skills. • Ability to measure using different tools. • Ability to work independently as well as accept direction. • Strong work ethic and self-motivation. • Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and suppliers. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Coursework in metalworking, blueprint reading, drafting, and math. • Experience with Mastercam. • Minimum of six months of CNC Mills and CNC Router experience. • Experience with Fanuc Controls and 3-axis machines. • Experience with blueprints, Hyundai, Haas, Mazak, micrometers, and calipers.
