Night Shift Position: An 18% shift differential will be added to the base hourly rate. Job Description The CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist must have a good attitude, strong attention to detail, and possess a mechanical ability relatable to metal manufacturing. After company provided training, CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist must demonstrate the ability to read and understand common blueprint principle, be able to perform consistently and independently machine operator skills all while maintaining appropriate inspection/traceability of parts and paperwork. Job Function Performs required operations on Multi-Axis Mill and Lathe machines, including loading and unloading of parts, part inspection, tool holder preparation and insert changing; cleans and performs preventive maintenance and minor adjustments of assigned equipment; prepares various logs and records to document machine operation and daily production; enters required data into computer; moves/transports parts to appropriate location as needed; handles parts in a manner to prevent damage; maintains safe, clean and orderly work areas; receives, reviews, and /or refers to various records or reports including travelers, shift reports, SOPs, safety sheets, etc.; prepares labor sheets and non-conformance forms; interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals including the immediate supervisor, co-workers, engineering, and other shop personnel; operates height gage, micrometers, scooter gauges, various power tools, computers, etc.; performs related duties as required. Primary Responsibilities • Set up and switch jobs as required. • Produce effectively and efficiently within standard time allotment. • Keep track of materials in the area. • Minor maintenance of the machine. • Maintain an excellent attendance record. • Verify all parts are conforming before signing off on the traveler. • Keep track of all scrap and seek corrective action when necessary. • Run and maintain the function of 2+ machines in a manufacturing cell. • Maintain all inspection gages and tooling as required. • Function effectively within a team environment. • Embrace Changes. • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required. • Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards. Requirements • Must demonstrate a high ability in a mechanical setting related to machining after company-provided training. • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. • Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s). • Must have a brief understanding of the manufacturing process. • Must be able to run parts to spec on a daily basis on multiple machines after company-provided training. • Must be able to read simple part drawings after company-provided training. • Must be able to use and read micrometers, dial calipers, height gage, scooter gages, computers, and indicators accurately after company-provided training. • Must be able to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics after company-provided training. • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English. • Must be able to communicate information clearly verbally and in writing in English. • Perform any other task management deems necessary or needed by the company. • MTI is a safety-sensitive manufacturer. As such, successful results of pre-employment drug testing will be required. Preferable Experience • Previous relevant mechanical experience. Physical Demands/Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, move throughout the facility, and communicate. The employee must frequently lift/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. CNC Programmer​/BB

Position: CNC Programmer (Days #11700080425BB Job Description: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, testing, implementing, and modifying CNC programs for 4 or 5 axis CNC mills and CNC lathes. Will support Manufacturing and Engineering in terms of on time delivery and quality products. Primary Responsibilities: • Create and edit CNC programs, both interactively and offline. • Create program set up and execution documentation detailing preparation, tool sheets, part orientation and operation instructions for other personnel, or Engineering of op sheets. • Interact and assist with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel in regards to creating conforming parts and meeting process capability. • Generate ideas and suggestions for reducing turnaround time. • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required. • Notify supervisors or other personnel about technical production problems. • Train operators on new techniques or new operations. • Troubleshoot and fix existing programs. • Work with manufacturing to prove out processes to make them production ready, develop new techniques, and process improvements. • Conform to Programming standards, and company policies. Requirements: • Experience in Aerospace or IGT manufacturing. • 5+ years of experience with CAM software (preferred). • High school diploma or equivalent (2-year Precision Machining Degree preferred). • Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s). • Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. • Strong math background in geometry and trigonometry. • Knowledge of conventional and nonconventional machining. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects. • Sound analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills. • Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. • Must be able to use standard gauges (micrometers, height gauges, calipers etc.). • Ability to process and communicate information using Microsoft Office products. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. • Ability to communicate information and follow instruction in written and spoken English. • Must be able to work overtime when necessary, including weekends when required. • MTI is a safety sensitive manufacturer.
