What You Bring • Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar production/manufacturing role. • Strong understanding of machinery operation and production processes. • Ability to read and follow work orders and technical documents accurately. • Knowledge of quality control procedures and attention to detail. • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. • Solid communication and problem-solving skills. ? Physical Requirements • Able to stand, walk, or move for 8–12 hour shifts. • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly. • Comfortable with bending, stooping, and handling materials/tools. • Strong hand-eye coordination for precise machine operation. • Ability to work in moderate noise, varying temperatures, and around moving machinery. • Must wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing protection). ? Press Set-Up Operator We are seeking a Press Set-Up Operator to support our small-part production team. In this role, you will set up and operate an automatic stamping press while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a hands-on position suited for individuals with a mechanical background, machining experience, or familiarity with measuring tools and blueprints. Key Responsibilities: • Set up stamping press equipment and make necessary adjustments between production runs. • Operate automatic stamping presses and monitor their performance. • Inspect completed workpieces for defects and sort accordingly. • Measure finished parts to ensure accuracy using micrometers, calipers, gauges, templates, or rulers. • Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing specs, and work orders. • Perform routine maintenance, machine checks, and complete operational data records. • Retrieve dies and stock materials as needed; complete SAP confirmations. • Perform heavy lifting and follow all safety guidelines. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. Requirements: Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Willingness and ability to obtain forklift certification • Experience with measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) • Ability to interpret blueprints, Manufacturing Operating Sheets (MOSs), and Bills of Material (BOMs) Preferred Qualifications: • Mechanical or machining background • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Prior experience with stamping press operations (a plus, but not required) • Solid attendance, safety, and performance track record • Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting If youre detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and looking for a stable position with a consistent afternoon schedule, we encourage you to apply.
