Primary Duties: • Operate multiple CNC mills and lathes. • Monitor quality of parts while in process. • Change cutting tools and make comps as needed. • Setup difficult parts and machine necessary tooling. • Solve machining related problems. Secondary Duties: • Assist operators with adjustments and tool changes. • Make process improvements and update/ create necessary documentation. • Use manual support equipment as needed. Qualifications: • Ability to setup, troubleshoot, and run tight tolerance parts in difficult to machine materials. • Ability to use and properly care for all inspection equipment. • Ability to navigate machine controls and address errors. • Expert knowledge of blueprint reading including GD&T.
