Job Summary We are seeking to fill roles from Shop Floor Support to CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machines, operating in a machine shop environment and an understanding of the machine trade relative to your skillset. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality production of components. All personnel will work collaboratively with engineers, leadership and other team members to fabricate parts that meet strict specifications. We are far from your normal machine shop. When you work here, you wear several hats and work close with your team members to get product out the door at the upmost highest quality. Duties, but not limited too • Operate CNC machines, including Heidenhein Control equipment, to produce precision components. • Hermle CNC 5-Axis Mills • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements. • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in machining. • Utilize precision CMMs to ensure accuracy in machining. • Assemble machined parts and perform necessary adjustments for optimal fit and function. • Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise. • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and enhance product quality. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Some Qualifications to have • Experience as a Introductory CNC Operator or Machinist with a strong background in machining processes. • Experience with CAD and CAM. Solidworks, Verisurf and HyperMILL • Strong basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all tasks performed.
