RESPONSIBILITIES: • Read blue prints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T. • Use micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gage and a manual CMM. • Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry. • Set up machines by installing pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures. • Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. • Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift. • Edit G code and M code programs. • Operate 3, 4, & 5 axis vertical and horizontal CNC Mills with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls. • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. • Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance. • Maintain an organized and clean work environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Required to lift up to 50 lbs. • Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts.
