Machine Operations Specialist

Job Title: Machine Operations Specialist This role involves setting up, operating, and adjusting various machines and equipment to produce high-quality products. • Operating machinery including punch presses, straighteners, feed machines, press brakes, furnaces, cranes, forklifts, conveyors, cutting torches, and other departmental equipment. • Performing processes like inspecting, gauging, counting, heating, blanking, perforating, shearing, forming, sorting, and stacking. • Reading and interpreting drawings and routing sheets and using calipers, gages, and measuring devices for SPC requirements. • Making visual inspections, separating parts, recording production, scrap, and maintaining production records. Key Responsibilities: As a Machine Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for: • Setting up and operating punch presses, straighteners, feed machines, press brakes, furnaces, cranes, forklifts, conveyors, cutting torches, and other departmental equipment. • Inspecting and testing products to ensure quality standards are met. • Recording production, scrap, and maintaining production records. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need: • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and walk, hear, see, and use both hands. • Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on a platform, and load 80 lbs with assistance. • Ability to push or pull 415 lbs over 2 feet.

Tool And Die Technician 2

The Position To maintain, repair, or build stamping dies, fixtures, jigs, and secondary operation equipment utilized within the Pensacola manufacturing facility. Responsibilities • A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Tool and Die and stamping. Ability to produce precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures from blueprints and or hand sketches. • Ability to work with engineers and designers to determine how to best address manufacturing issues, part development, and tool designs. Maintain, repair, and improve stamping dies and tooling. • Make adjustments to equipment utilized in the production process to insure part quality and promote continuous improvement to the process. • Work safely by yourself and with others maintaining a clean work environment. • Must be able to work well with co-workers across the plant from a supportive, Team-oriented perspective. Supervisory Responsibilities • Minimal supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications • Tool & Die makers must either hold Journeyman certificate in Tool & Die or Die Making - or - have a minimum of 5 years of education and training in a formal apprenticeship or postsecondary program. • Must be well versed in the use of machine tools (i.e. Mills, lathes, grinders, etc.) and precision measuring equipment. • Must be familiar with machining and grinding of a variety of common metals both hardened and soft. • Must have experience with single hit and progressive dies. • Must be knowledgeable in mathematics and blueprint reading. Language Skills • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprints.Must be able to communicate well with engineers, designers, and co-workers. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide along with a full understanding and use of geometry. Reasoning Abilities • Tool & Die makers need to have a natural ability to diagnose, interrupt, and assess problems in tooling and manufacturing processes creating solutions to complex situations. Computer Skills • Computer skills are a plus. Knowledge and understanding of CNC programming and operation.
