Key Responsibilities: • Utilize Mastercam to create programs for complete parts, including fixtures and jigs. • Operate several CNC machines with minimal supervision. • Edit CNC programs directly at the machine or using CAM software. • Have hands-on experience with 3, 4, and 5 axis machining. • Collaborate effectively with CNC team members to meet project goals. • Set up machines and use precision hand tools efficiently. • Manage work orders while adhering to tight customer deadlines. • Work independently and demonstrate excellent time management skills. • Have a background working with aerospace components. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years setting up 3, 4, and 5 axis machines. • At least 5 years of programming experience using Mastercam. • Competency with Haas and Fanuc controls. • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of CNC maintenance. • High school diploma or GED required. • Excellent print reading skills, including GD&T interpretation. • Receptive to instructions and capable of making sound judgments. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Experience with machining plastics and composites is preferred. Physical Requirements: This position demands physical capabilities for various tasks, such as standing, walking, lifting, and manipulating components. You will be expected to: • Stand for 50% of the time. • Lift weights from 2 to 75 lbs. • Push and pull up to 100 lbs. • Demonstrate finger dexterity and arm-hand steadiness.
