Job Description 1st shift machinist Must have 2-5 years of experience and proven ability as a machinist. Top pay for qualified applicants. We are looking for highly skilled Machinists that have experience running manual lathes, mills, and CNC equipment, independently writing your own programs in a job shop environment. You will have the opportunity of learning to run a wide range of equipment including cylindrical OD. and ID. grinders, surface grinders, blanchard grinding, and key cutting. You must be able to inspect your own parts. We offer portable on-site machining. With some of our jobs you may need to reverse engineer the part to make a new part for our customer. We would need you to have a strong attention to detail along with being able to read blueprints, using inspection tools, and a good knowledge of math skills. We would need you to maintain machine tools and equipment in proper operational condition. And we would need you to evaluate machining procedures to ensure optimal efficiency.
