Summary: MRO Ladson is an aerospace bearing repair station. The machining technician will report directly to the Channel Manager. In this position you will be expected to perform the operation and setup of multiple machines according to quality specifications to ensure that product conforms to specified finish dimensions. We are seeking individuals with great attention to detail and above average problem solving skills. We are looking to hire individuals who have the aptitude to work independently while supporting departmental performance goals. Duties and Responsibilities: • Sets up machine, including tool changes, insert changes, and geometry according to instructions, specifications, and SOPs. • Selects, places and secures tooling in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches. • Sets gages to measure OD, ID, 3pt race, and offset. • Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines • Utilizes micrometers, calipers, and other measurement gauges • Determines whether machinery is working properly based on specifications for expectations such as fixtures, cutting speeds, or feed rates. • Signs off paperwork to maintain job accuracy and consistency • Must be able to learn and operate multiple machines • Troubleshooting and problem solving • Capable of making adjustments to tool wears • Understands and can implement 5S in area • Performs other duties as assigned • Follows all plant safety regulations Requirements: • Must have HS diploma or GED • Must be able to read and write English • Must pass a near vision test and color perception test Working Conditions: • Works in a climate controlled environment. There will be periods of long standing or sitting, lifting of 50lbs on a regular basis, bending, and eye fatigue • Works around hazardous chemicals. CNC Setup Machinist- 2nd Shift

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a CNC Setup Machinist- 2nd Shift. The rate for this position is range is $24-$29/hour + $2.50 shift differential.. The second shift hours are as follows; 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: Description Eaton Aerospace Group is currently seeking CNC Setup Machinists to join our 2nd shift team. This position is based in our North Charleston, SC facility. Relocation assistance will be provided. This position is currently offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000*; less applicable withholding. Position Overview: The setup machinist will lead the transition/changeover between production runs on various CNC machines such as mills and lathes then operate select machines through the remainder of the production run while ensuring quality parts from the work cell. In this function, you will: • Properly set tools in machine locations required for set-up & perform part changeover including program retrieval and input • Establish work offsets (G54, G55, etc.) manually and utilizing probing technology • Read, understand, and reset CNC machine program codes • Be able to calculate and input axis coordinates for CNC machines up to 3 axis’s or use a spindle probe to determine work offsets • Calculate and input axis coordinates X, Y, and Z or use a spindle probe to determine work offsets • Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing results to make adjustments to work offsets • Additional benefits to include: Health insurance effective from the first day of employment, air-conditioned and well-maintained facility, paid lunch, and two weeks of vacation upon hire.
