Manual Machinist Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist who is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of manual machining operations, processes, and related equipment. The Manual Machinist will be responsible for producing high-precision parts and components for our production operations. • Operate manual milling machines, vertical turning lathes, horizontal boring mills, grinders, planers, drill presses, hydraulic presses, band saws, and other related equipment. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and other related documents. • Measure, mark, and layout material for machining operations. • Operate forklifts and cranes as necessary. • Perform drilling, tapping, turning, honing, polishing, and other related processes. • Ensure accuracy and precision of parts and components. • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. • Maintain neat and orderly work area. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machining operations. • Maintain accurate records of production activities. • Collaborate with other personnel to improve machinery and processes. Qualifications: • Experience as a manual machinist. • Thorough knowledge of manual machining operations, processes, and related equipment. • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. • Strong attention to detail. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
