The TDI site in Dayton, OH is a part of Unison, a GE Aerospace Company. Unison is uniquely positioned to introduce the next-gen Air Turbine Starter for the CMF56-7B fleet. At the TDI site, Unison also produces Surface Coolers and Bellows to support the aerospace industry. What’s a typical day like? Imagine a customer who needs quality specialty tooling and equipment to complete a job. The parts normally call for a 2-week lead time. The customer is asking if we can expedite the order and deliver it within 1 week. If we can fulfill their order, they will save a lot of money. The Scheduling Manager notices that we have the blanks in stock, but the parts must be pulled and ground today to make the lead-time.
