The CNC Operator will report directly to the Production Manager. He or she will be responsible for the following: • Machine Operation/production • Load/unload parts within qualified time given • Must be able to distinguish and identify proper tooling/collects/fixtures and jaws for efficient set-up • Inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability. • Observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial caliper.
