CNC Mill Machinist

CNC Vertical Mill Machinist Responsibilities: • Operation of multi-axis CNC vertical mills. • Set up and operate complex, precision machining jobs with minimal supervision. • Determine proper machining method including correct tooling speeds and feeds. • Ability to read and work from blueprints/sketches and machine to required quality requirements. • Read and understand detail drawings and assembly drawings, including knowledge of GD&T. • Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling. • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements. • Safely move and handle large/heavy parts with a hoist as required. • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required. Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED. • Minimum 2 years machining experience preferred on 3 or 5 axis CNC Mills. • Programming experience preferred. • Demonstrated skill working in a team environment. • Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic. CNC Laser Operator (1st Shift)
