Position Impact and Purpose… This individual will perform highly technical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and process standards within a tier one automotive supplier machining manufacturing facility. Key Relationships… • Team Leaders • Section Leaders • Department Leaders • Plant Manager • Vice President • Vendors • Contractors • Purchasing • Shipping/Receiving • Front Office Key Characteristics and Competencies… • Team minded • Detail oriented • Proactive • Organization • Solutions Focus • Collaboration • Customer Experience • Problem Solving • Integrity • Excellent Communication • Continuous Improvement Functional Area: Customer Service Estimated Effort: 70% • Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes, and Expectations: • Commitment to YSK objectives regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, and management as communicated in the handbook, shift meetings, and postings • Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment • Read and interpret wire schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required planned maintenance and service • CNC machine monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair • Diagnosing machine problems using PLC ladder logic • Replace and/or repair parts, test, and make adjustments • Perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities • Utilize hand tools, multi-meter, gauges, calipers, and specialty tools to maintain equipment Functional Area: Project Work Estimated Effort: 20% • Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes, and Expectations • 5S projects (Sort, Set-in-order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) work areas. • Perform scheduled maintenance on machines during shutdowns. • Perform inspections, audits, or inventory for maintenance items. • Perform/assist with new machinery installation. • Verify asset numbers on equipment • Team involvement in Kaizen or Quality Circles Functional Area: Other Responsibilities/Accountabilities Estimated Effort: 10% Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes, and Expectations • Serves as part of the YSK team and collaborates to promote program activities, service coordination, and continuous improvement measures • Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times • Other duties as assigned Expectations include a pleasant demeanor, a positive attitude, a willing spirit, and a team commitment.
