Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with the ability to operate various CNC machines including lathes and milling machines. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications. Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC machines, including CNC lathes and CNC milling machines, to produce parts according to engineering specifications. • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations required. • Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks for design modifications and CAM programming for tool path generation. • Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances. • Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes before and after final design. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes. • Proficient in CNC programming and operation. • Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately. • Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters. • Familiarity with tooling, hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes. • Experience operating forklifts is preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
