The successful candidate will be able to: • Follow all safety & quality guidelines • Setup & run of CNC Turning Centers, CNC Machining Centers and NC Grinding Centers • Assemble small parts at manual assembly stations as needed • Obtain and use any needed inspection equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, height gage, bore gages and taper gages to properly measure components and use while running equipment • Operate several pieces of equipment simultaneously. For example loading parts on one machine while another is running • Clean & maintain tooling in an orderly fashion in the work area(s) • Read drawings, tooling sheets & inspection equipment to produce parts to standards • Keep programs and tooling sheets up to date and advise of any needed edits • Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process Proficiencies: • High School Diploma or GED • At least 5 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment including any internships or personal opportunities. • At least 5 years of production or machining experience including any internships or personal opportunities. • At least 3 years of setup and running of CNC equipment, preferably Mazak Turning and Machining centers. Programming a big plus. • If no programming experience, capable of learning Mazatrol programming language. • Strong mechanical acumen • Very good problem solving & troubleshooting skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, work in a production facility and stand for a complete shift.
