This position involves performing a variety of task that is involved with making a threaded coupling for the oil and gas industry. The position will be responsible for multiple duties contributing to the overall success of the production process. Starting June 1, 2025 the pay for the Machine Operator role is $21/hr. Key responsibilities: • CNC Machine Operating: Operate industrial computer-controlled machines that cut metal to a specific dimension. Make adjustments to the program as needed for efficient operations. Use handheld industrial tools to change carbide cutting tools. Follow written Standard Operating Procedures for machine operation. Ability to use HDMI computer touch screens, accurately record measurements (written and electronically). Use of basic math skills for inspection calculations. Inputting of data into electronic database. • Inspection: Use of precise measuring instruments that measure in thousandth of an inch such as dial indicators, calipers etc. • Tool Usage: Use of inspection tools such as dial indicators, calipers, air powered tools, handheld wrenches, etc. May be required to operate forklifts. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Ability to read and apply Hazardous Energy Controlled Procedures.
