Shift: 1st Shift 5am - 3:30pm (4 Days per week) Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Set-up and operate CNC Lathe and CNC Vertical Machining Center • Use machine tools, meters and machine manuals to diagnose problems. • Manufacture of precision parts with multiple quantities and with multiple profiles (radiuses and angles with different tangent points). • Use hand tools, power tools, welding and fabricating techniques. • Use and read precision measuring instruments. • Able to read and understand blueprints. • Provide support to department for plant improvement or facility projects, as needed. • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. • Must be available to work overtime days/hours as needed for emergency repairs. • Assist in other areas of the shop as needed. • Must be able to work proficiently with minimal supervision. • Other duties as assigned by management. • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. • Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required. • Compliance with all Company policies including all safety policies and procedures is required. Qualifications Education and/or Experience • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Machine Tool Technology Technical Certificate or Associates Degree in CNC Machining preferred. • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge to include Outlook and MS Word and Excel. • Excellent problem solving, organization skills, and attention to detail. Computer Numerical Control Machinist

CNC Machinist Our client in north central Arkansas is seeking a CNC Technician to support their advanced manufacturing operations through hands-on set-up and operation of multi-spindle CNC mills and related production systems. There are multiple 2nd and 3rd shift openings. Relocation Assistance may be provided for this role. Responsibilities: • Sets up and operates numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various machine functions such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic workpieces by performing the following duties. • Repairing or replacing all broken components on machines • Work with setup personnel on all machine along with programmers and engineers • Complete understanding on how a CNC machine operates • Experience in using measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, test tools etc.) • Knowledge and use of basic tools used daily on the job • Must be able to replace bearings, guides, ballscrews etc. • To keep abreast of the requirements related to its activity of quality safety and environment Requirements: • High School Diploma / GED • Must have at least 5 years experience in CNC Machining • Knowledge in changing spindles and setting up them after installation • Experience in Hydraulics, valves, pumps and motors troubleshooting and replacing • Experience in the use of CNC controls how to move individual axes as needed to operate machines
