Responsibilities: • Work from shop prints, work orders, prescribed production procedures to receive stock material, requisition tooling and program to prepare machine for operation. • Check all fluid levels, grease fittings and transmission. • Load programs, insert tooling for touch-off of tooling, reference points for dry run of first piece. • Produce first piece with approval or assistance of more experienced personnel for measurement of critical dimensions. • Check production pieces following quality procedures.
