Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Join us as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in our Blue Anchor, NJ plant. You'll collaborate with our team to keep our plant running smoothly, and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department! The shift for this position is 7 pm to 7 am with a starting rate of $30.34. New Jersey State Refrigeration/Boiler Licenses will be paid an additional per hour as follows: Black/Blue $1.50; Black/Blue/Red $3.00; Black/Blue/Red/Gold $4.50. New hires have one year from their hire date to obtain license from the State of NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing Conducting Preventative Maintenance – Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment – your excellence will be the key to keeping production moving smoothly. Ensuring Performance Efficiency – Manage machine performance by doing equipment set-up and change-overs. You’ll facilitate production and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns. Following Best Practices – Understand, follow and enforce all established guidelines. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with all safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures and recognized practices. You’ll help us keep delivering success, one waffle at a time. We’re Looking for Someone With High school diploma or GED. Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day. Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting.
