(“Imperial) is currently looking for talented and experienced CNC Machinist Programmers who have experience creating multi-axis CNC programs using CAD/CAM software and setting up and operating CNC machine tools in a busy production environment. Candidates should have the ability to read and understand 2d blueprints, create and manipulate 3d models, understand GD&T and be comfortable with standard inspection methods and measuring tools. The programming role is considered part of a front-end engineering function and is focused on creating the programs, tool lists, and inspection plans for new jobs and optimizing those aspects of legacy jobs. The candidate will collaborate with setup/operator personnel on the shop floor to successfully get these new parts through first piece inspection.
