Qualifications: • **Experience: • * Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience, including program writing, setup, and operation. • **Technical Proficiency: • * Skilled in SolidWorks, Mastercam, and 5-axis programming and operation. • **Hands-On Expertise: • * Proven ability to set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines. • **Inspection Skills: • * Strong understanding of drawings, tolerances, and manual inspection techniques. • **Leadership Experience: • * Prior experience as a lead machinist or team leader preferred. • **Physical Requirements: • * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Requirements: Knowledge/Skills: • Proficient in manual machining (milling, turning, grinding). • Skilled in CNC programming and operation. • Strong understanding of materials such as carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, tool steel, and plastics. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents. • Competent in the use of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. • Strong mathematical skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and geometry. • Effective communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
