Become a part of the “strength within.” Hexcel is currently seeking a HOBE Mill Operator for our Pottsville, PA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: • The HOBE operator is responsible for processing material within the HOBE department. • Read and follow written, and verbal work instructions. • Responsible for maintaining acceptable productivity rates and accuracy requirements. • Responsible for machine setup, tools and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality product. • Run the expander, belting, and HOBE Mill. • Work as a team to complete HOBE trimming, expanding, hand routing, bonding, special process work, trimming of product and pre-packing. • Identify the “L” and the W” of expanded honeycomb and determine cell count and ribbon direction. • Ensures inventory accuracy associated with the product group. • Record transactions in the RF Smart system and maintain accurate inventory levels. • Other duties as assigned by Supervision. Qualifications: • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required. • Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing. • Must have a Forklift Certification or be able to obtain the forklift certification. • Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills. • Possess good hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination. • Basic computer skills – WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, required.
