Job Summary Welding-Grinding / Finishing-Metal shearing / Folding / Installing We are seeking to add a hardworking Fabricator/Welder to our team in our Vineland, NJ. Must be proficient in reading machinist gauges, including but not limited to micrometers, vernier calipers, scales, etc. Candidates must be able to make parts from drawings. Should be able to stand for long periods of time. Some lifting is required. Key Responsibilities: • Mechanical skills and knowledge of basic machinery, including tools, computers, and other devices. • Ability to see colors since wires are often color coded. • Physical strength to lift heavy machinery, tools, and components. • Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination, with the ability to manipulate and assemble very large and small components. • Use hand tools and power tools to trim, cut, bend, secure and fit components into the final product. • Weld and solder pieces together • Align components and connect them with bolts and screws. • Find faulty components in defective products to fix them. • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks. • Welding materials and using the correct materials to join the metals together. • Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the proper tolerances. • Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality. • Responding to quick turnaround orders; some overtime may be required. • Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment • Maintain and clean equipment and work area. • Perform related duties, as assigned. • Determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs. • Guarantee consistency between plans and products. • Catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measures to eliminate errors. • Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation by inspecting own produced parts to blueprint dimensions and company standards. • Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacement. • Basic electrical knowledge for wiring lighting • Set-up and break-down of machining centers • Installation of the project on job sites. Minimum Acceptable Qualifications: • Knowledge of aluminum, steel, plastics and polymers is required. • Strong knowledge of shop practices and skill in using shop tools and equipment. • Ability to ACCURATELY read tape measurement & blueprints and translate into fabricated products. • Comfortable using tools and maintaining machinery. • Must have own tools • Must have reliable transportation. • High school diploma or equivalent Experience: • Sign: 3 years (Required) • Welding: 5 years (Required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Overtime Work Location: In person
